One of the fiercest competitors in the NFL appears to be calling it a career.
James Harrison posted this Instagram photo on Monday morning:
“I’ve missed way too much for way too long…and I’m done.
Many thanks to my family, coaches, the fans, and everyone who played a role in my football life. #2ndAndFinalRetirement #HarrisonFamilyValues #BlessedAndHighlyFavored #GodsPlan”
The linebacker came out of his first and not final retirement in 2014 to re-join the Pittsburgh Steelers. He then finished his career by playing in the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots. He’ll leave the league with 84.5 career sacks after he went undrafted out of Kent State and joined the Steelers in 2002.
Perhaps this means he’ll have even more time to post astounding workout videos on Instagram.
