Nick Young forced to wear shirt for autograph signing, stays swaggy

Nick Young’s shirtless streak ended on Thursday when he showed up to an autograph signing session at a Macy’s in San Francisco wearing an Oakland A’s Rickey Henderson jersey.

Young, who’s now going by “Swag Champ,” was shirtless while getting off the Warriors plane when they got back to Oakland from Cleveland, and he was praised by J.R. Smith for doing so. Then, at the championship parade, Young said, “All summer ’18 is shirtless.”

The shirt will probably be ditched after this, but Swaggy P told ABC7 Bay Area‘s Casey Pratt that Macy’s made him wear one. He said he went with the A’s jersey because Henderson is considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, so that fits with him being the swaggiest person.

Young also told ABC7 that his favorite part of the parade was getting to celebrate with the fans and hearing them chant “Swag Champ.”

The Swag Champ will definitely be living his best life this summer.
