It’s easy to see how great the Warriors and Spurs have been over the past year, especially in home games. But this stat, brought to us by Basketball Insiders’ Tommy Beer, shows just how great they have been.
It’s wild. Seventy three and one at home!
The wilder thing is that it’s still hard to see these teams on national television. The NBA should just rip up the TV contracts. Or just demand that every Spurs and Warriors game be put on NBA TV, no exceptions. We all can’t afford League Pass. And they’re denying us all this greatness.
It’s amazing that these two teams are in the same conference. The Warriors are off to a 33-2 start, a historical accomplishment, and they’re only three games up on the Spurs! The Spurs are kind of quietly also putting together a historically great season.
Give us more of them. Every night I want to see the Warriors and the Spurs. This doesn’t happen often.
Don’t look now, but the Spurs are quietly assembling a juggernaut
