Paul George on how he got by Kobe Bryant: 'Well, he is old'

The Indiana Pacers hung on to beat the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night in a nail-biter, 89-87. Kobe Bryant struggled in the game, going 6 for 25 from the field, and also struggled defensively against the Pacers’ Paul George, who finished with 21 points and scored all seven of his second-half points in the final minute and 11 seconds of the game.

After it was over, a reporter asked George how he was able to get past Bryant in the final minute and put the game away.

George’s response: “Well, he is old.”

Words hurt, Paul. Even when they’re true. They still hurt.

Bryant was pulled from the game with 10.8 seconds to go after missing two 3s in the final minute.
